That should be sufficient to get us all to focus on the one thing that matters – we want a Government that listens to its people and which best responds to the challenges and needs of our time.
Mr Vosarogo said it was a shame Mr Raj decided it was premature to comment on the draft Police Bill 2020 even when it was made available for reading and commentary. “You work for the people of Fiji and their rights and freedoms is your domain to jealously guard and protect.”
“You can’t have the supervisor of Elections who’s in charge of conducting elections but also regulating the political parties. The two offices should be separate.”
The COVID-19 pandemic should not be used as a pretext for continued restrictions on liberty and freedom of movement under Article 21 of the Constitution.
